Meet Summary - Parkview, Grayson, and Mill Creek - 1 Dec 2018

Congratulations to the swim team for their outstanding performance versus Parkview an Grayson.  Both teams battled hard and finished 2nd behind Parkview and ahead of Grayson.  In the girls' meet the scores were Parkview 268.5, Mill Creek 258.5 and Grayson 204. In the boys' meet the scores were Parkview 275, Mill Creek 238 and Grayson 105.

We have many swimmers attempting to earn special recognition by qualifying for state and county in each and every event. We award the Iron Hawk for qualifying for state in all 8 swimming events, Silver Hawk for qualifying for state in at least 2 swimming events and county in the remaining swimming events, Bronze Hawk for qualifying for state in less than 2 events and county in the remaining events, and Soaring Hawk for divers that qualify for state in both the 11-dive and 6-dive format. 

Iron Hawk:  Nicholas Kalenik, Jake Magahey, and Abigail Tashlein have qualified for state in all 8 swimming events and have earned the Iron Hawk Award!  Isabelle Andrews, Sydney Tashlein, Tristen Thompson and Mia Walters all have qualified for state in 7 of the 8 events. Jordan Hildebrand and Jackson Ward have 5 state cuts. Lainey Lioi, Logan Paugh, and Owen Pendley have 3 state cuts. Daniel Roshka and Bailey Williams have 2 state cuts.

The next swimming meet will be the Clody Invitational on Saturday morning, 8 December 2018, at the West Gwinnett Aquatic Center.  The next diving meet will be the Hudson Memorial 11-dive meet on Friday, 7 December 2018, at the Mountain Park Aquatic Center.
