This weekend is a very different meet schedule for our team. Some of our swimmers will be heading to Junior Nationals, and others will be going to Senior State. The rest of the swimming team will be competing at Clody, which is a county-wide, multi-team meet on Saturday at West Gwinnett pool. Divers will compete on Friday at Mountain Park pool. PLEASE READ DETAILS BELOW CAREFULLY.

SWIMMERS

Clody Swimming Invitational: Saturday, December 8, 2018, at West Gwinnett Aquatic Center at 9:00 a.m.

The bus will leave MCHS at 6:45 a.m. All Clody swimmers should ride the bus unless they have prior approval with Coach Creed. If athletes would like to ride home from the meet with parents, they MUST speak with a coach after the meet to get approval. They must not ride home with a student driver. Swimmers are permitted to leave with their parents or guardian once they have competed in their last scheduled event. The bus should return to Mill Creek around 2:30 PM.

THERE IS A FEE to get into the spectator section for this meet. Adults: $5, school age: $3. Heat Sheets: $2. Workers, when you arrive, let the front desk know you are working. You will receive a wrist band or badge to let you into the meet for free. Only ONE member of the worker's family may get in for free, even if you plan to split your shift. Because this is a county-wide meet, it will be crowded and last longer than a regular dual meet. We highly recommend that you arrive early and take a stadium chair or cushion with you.

All of our workers for this meet will be working in concessions.

First half 8:30-10:30 a.m.         Grant, Smith (Kirra), Ezell

Second half 10:30 a.m.—end   Battle, Nordmann, Sossa

First half workers, please plan to arrive no later than 8:15 a.m. The facility will open at 8:15 a.m. for spectators, so you might want to try to get in a little earlier than 8:15 to avoid the lines at the desk. Remember to tell them you are a worker for MCHS. The meet will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. Second half workers, please report to concessions on time to relieve the other workers.

DIVERS

Memorial Diving Invitational: Friday, December 7, 2018, at Mountain Park Aquatic Center. There will not be bus transportation for the diving meet.

Boys will warmup at 3:00 p.m. Competition will begin at 4:00 p.m. Girls should arrive no later than 5:00 p.m. Warmups and competition will commence after boys’ competition has concluded. Go, diving Hawks!
