Mill Creek vs Duluth vs Berkmar Meet Summary - 15 Dec 2018

Congratulations to the swim team for their outstanding performance versus Duluth and Berkmar. Both teams swam and dove extremely well. The boys, team won 11 of the 12 events and won by a score of Mill Creek 297, Duluth 234, and Berkmar 95.  The girls' team won 8 out of 12 events and won by a score of Mill Creek 272, Duluth 261, and Berkmar 106.

We have many swimmers attempting to earn special recognition by qualifying for state and county in each and every event. We award the Iron Hawk for qualifying for state in all 8 swimming events, Silver Hawk for qualifying for state in at least 2 swimming events and county in the remaining swimming events, Bronze Hawk for qualifying for state in less than 2 events and county in the remaining events, and Soaring Hawk for divers that qualify for state in both the 11-dive and 6-dive format.

Silver Hawk: Isabelle Andrews (7 state cuts), Jacob Battle (2 state cuts), Jordan Hildebrand (5 state cuts), Lainey Lioi (3 state cuts), Owen Pendley (3 state cuts), Daniel Roshka (2 state cuts), Sydney Tashlein (7 state cuts), Tristen Thompson (7 state cuts), Jackson Ward (4 state cuts), and Bailey Williams (2 state cuts).


Bronze Hawk:  Aidan Delliponti (1 state cut), Claire Grant, Cam Niehoff, and Will Pierce.


Travis Grailer (1 state cut), Logan Paugh (5 state cuts), Anna Smith, Aidan Van Derhei, Mia Walters (7 state cuts), and Caroline Weinhart each have a combination of 7 state or county cuts.  Hunter Misuraca has a state cut in the 11-dive format.

The next swimming meet will be versus Norcross on Saturday morning at 8:00 AM, 12 Jan 2019, at the Mountain Park Aquatic Center. We will recognize our seniors during this meet.

We hope that everyone has a safe and happy holiday season.  We will be running practices over the holidays.  We expect all of our athletes to train over the holidays.  If you will be traveling we ask that you request swimming and dry-land workouts from your coaches.
