Attention County Meet Swimmers and Divers,

The psych sheets for the Gwinnett County Championship Meet are posted and attached to this email.  Please keep in mind that high school swimming and diving is a TEAM Sport and tough entry decisions had to be made to make our team as competitive as possible.  The top 30 swimmers in prelims in each event will advance to Finals on Saturday night with one caveat, a team can have no more than 4 swimmers competing in finals in a given event.  Hence, you may end up in the top 30 but if you are the 5th or 6th swimmer from our team then you will not be able to swim in finals.  Conversely, you may get into finals if you finish outside of the top 30 if there are swimmers ahead of you that are the 5th, 6th, etc. swimmer from another team.  

The events you swim in the County Meet may be different from the events you will swim in State because the meets are quite different.  Also we can enter 3 relays in each relay event for prelims but only one relay can swim in finals.  Relays will be revealed to the swimmers at the meet.  Relays may change from prelims to finals depending on how swimmers are performing.  

We are extremely proud of this team and we hope everyone has an outstanding County Meet!  We hope to see everyone at the County Meet dinner this Tuesday at the Paugh's house.
