Swimmers, divers, and parents,

The Westminster meet is Wednesday, Nov. 4, at Westminster.  The team will eat in the Mill Creek Commons at 2:30 PM afterschool.  The team will load the buses at 3:00.  The meet will start at 5:30 PM and should last approximately 1:45-2 hours.  Diving will take place simultaneously with the swimming.  We will be attempting to broadcast the meet.  We will send out the link once it is created.  The buses should return to Mill Creek around 8:30 PM.  Unfortunately, spectators will not be allowed in the building.  Only athletes and coaches may attend the meet.  We do not provide any volunteer workers for meets at Westminster.

Westminster has put in place some strict rules about masks and social distancing.  Swimmers and divers need to bring a mask (preferably a cloth mask) and a small ziplock bag with the athletes name written on it.  Athletes are required to wear their masks when not competing.  Swimmers will wear their mask to the blocks or diving board and place it in their ziplock bag before they step on the block or board.  We will collect the bags of the swimmers and take them to the turn end of the pool.  After the swimmer completes their individual event they will swim a 25 easy to the turn end and exit the pool.  They will receive their mask once they exit the pool.  We will compete in lanes 1-5 and Westminster will compete in lanes 6-10.  The two teams will maintain social distance from each other.  We appreciate everyone's cooperation with this policy.  We have been fortunate to have the opportunity to compete at Westminster for the past 15 years.  They have a tremendous program and they are always extremely hospitable. 

Entries will be sent out once they are completed.

There will be no morning or afternoon practice at Bogan Park on Wednesday due to the meet.
