This week we had 4 senior swimmers earn admission into Georgia Tech’s freshman class of 2023: Vivien Rothwell, Lydia Schwab, Will Skidmore, and Curtis Thompson! Congratulations to these swimmers for their great work in the classroom.
We have team pictures on Monday, Dec. 12 (tomorrow), at Bogan Park Aquatic Center at 3:00 PM. We as that every swimmer wear their team shirt (seniors wear their senior shirt) and jeans. We will have a brief team meeting and abbreviated workout after the picture.
Our number one goal this week is to excel in our exams! Academics always comes first at Mill Creek High School! We encourage every athlete to put in the time studying and preparing for their exams. We will run practice at our normal time and encourage athletes to make as many practices as possible this week.
The next meet will be Friday, Dec. 16, at Mountain Park Aquatic Center in Lilburn. We will be competing against Duluth, Seckinger, and Discovery.
Thanks to all of the parents that volunteered and worked at our meet this past week. We will need more volunteers this week since we are the Home team.
Thanks for everyone’s support. We ask that you encourage your athlete to train consistently, eat properly, and get enough rest!
The meet results are attached.
Thanks,
Coach Creed
