A special congratulations to the swimmers that achieved the honor of Iron, Silver, Bronze, or Soaring Hawk recognition:
Iron Hawk (qualifies for state in all 8 individual swimming events): Iris Ochoa, Vivien Rothwell, and Will Skidmore.
Silver Hawk (qualifies for state in 2 or more swimming events and county in the remaining events): Cooper Wilhoit.
Bronze Hawk (qualifies for county in all 8 swimming events): Jackson Bollier, Jackson Fleming, Justin Kurgan, Evan Smola and Kate Thigpen.
Soaring Hawk (qualifies for state in both the 6 and 11 dive events): Leah McCarthy
We have many swimmers that are only 1 event away from earning the recognition of Bronze Hawk: Ileana Lopez Barnes, Morris Peele, Ryan Ross, Weston Skidmore, and Owen Van Houten.
The next meet and last dual meet will be against Norcross on Friday, Jan. 13, at West Gwinnett at 7:20 PM. We will recognize seniors immediately following the 50 freestyle event.
