Congratulations to the girls' team for their outstanding performance at last night's Gwinnett County Championship swimming prelims. The team showed tremendous improvement in their times!!!! We are extremely proud of all of the girls!

State qualifying times were achieved by Allison Shin (200 free, 100 back), Iris Ochoa (50 free, 100 free), Grace Smith (50 free, 100 fly), Emily Johnson (50 free), Vivien Rothwell (100 fly, 100 back), and Lilly Murphy (500 free).

The following swimmers qualified for finals on Saturday: Allison Shin (200 free, 100 back), Lilly Murphy (200 free, 500 free), Aubrey Harper (200 free, 100 free), Mariela Toro (200 free, 500 free), Kate Thigpen (200 IM, 100 breast), Ava Syed (200 IM, 100 breast), Iris Ochoa (50 free, 100 free), Grace Smith (50 free, 100 fly), Emily Johnson (50 free, 100 free), Adelaine Dunnington (50 free), Vivien Rothwell (100 fly, 100 back), Ileana Lopez Barnes (100 fly, 500 free), Alina Inthavong (100 fly, 100 breast), Marlee Carmichael (100 free), Kamryn Smith (100 back), and Annie Smith (100 back).

Congratulations also to Phoebe Basic, Samantha Jones, Mary Loomis, Amelia Newlin, Teresa Rodrigues, Emma Pauli, Kate Wallace, and Stephanie Wong for swimming best times and having an outstanding season.

The swimming finals are this evening.  

The bus for Saturday's finals will leave at 1:50 PM.
