Congratulations to the Mill Creek swim team for their outstanding meet this weekend versus Brookwood. Both the boys and girls swam and dove extremely well against probably the top team in the state!

First place finishes were achieved by Iris Ochoa (200 free, 100 free).

State qualifying times were achieved by Weston Skidmore (200 free, 100 back), Iris Ochoa (200 free, 100 free), Marlee Carmichael (50 free), Ryan Ross (200 IM), Allison Shin (100 back), and Owen Van Houten (500 free).  There were other swimmers extremely close to qualifying for state and many County qualifying times.

Congratulation to both teams for the outstanding spirit and sportsmanship!

The next meet will be Friday, Nov. 17 versus Mountain View and Shiloh at the Collins Hill Aquatic Center.  We have not competed their in years.  The pool is a 10 lane pool.  There are bleachers for spectators but no mezzanine seating.  The pool tends to be warm inside so you may want to dress accordingly.  Their will not be a bus for this meet.  We ask all swimmers and divers to arrive at the Collins Hill Aquatic Center no later than 6:15 PM.  The address is 2200 Collins Hill Road, Lawrenceville, Georgia.

Thanks to all the parents that assisted with the meet!  Home team responsibilities are much greater than the visiting team.  Thanks to the parents that did an outstanding job with the setup, computer table, and take down.  The meet ran extremely well due to their hard work!  We will be the home team for our next meet as well and will need several volunteers.
