Congratulations to the Mill Creek swim team for their outstanding meet this weekend versus Grayson. Both the boys and girls swam and dove extremely well!

First place finishes were achieved by Marlie Carmichael (200 free), Iris Ochoa (200 IM, 100 back), Adelaine Dunnington (50 free, 100 free), Alex Schoepfer (diving), Kate Thigpen (100 fly), Jack Wallace (500 free), Allison Shin (500 free), Evan Smola (100 back), Ryan Ross (100 breast), and Ava Syed (100 breast).  

State qualifying times were achieved by Iris Ochoa (100 back).  There were other swimmers extremely close to qualifying for state and many County qualifying times.

Congratulation to both teams for the outstanding spirit and sportsmanship!

The next meets will be versus Seckinger on Friday, 15 Dec 2023, at the Collins Hill Aquatic Center.  

Team pictures will be held this Monday, Dec. 11, at 4:00 PM at Bogan Park.  Swimmers and divers are asked to wear jeans and their team t-shirt!  We will practice for approximately 30 minutes after pictures.

Thanks to all the parents that assisted with the meet! Home team responsibilities are much greater than the visiting team. Thanks to the parents that did an outstanding job with the setup, computer table, and take down. The meet ran extremely well due to their hard work! We will be the home team for our Dec.15th meet as well and will need several volunteers.
