Congratulations to the Mill Creek swim team for their outstanding meet this weekend versus Seckinger. Both the boys and girls swam and dove extremely well!

First place finishes were achieved by Evan Smola (200 free), Mariela Toro (200 free), Owen Van Houten (200 IM, 500 free), Iris Ochoa (200 IM, 100 free), Wynn Skidmore (50 free), Emily Johnson (50 free), Alex Schoepfer (diving), Leah McCarthy (diving), Weston Skidmore (100 fly, 100 breast), Grace Smith (100 fly), Jackson Fleming (100 free), Ryan Ross (100 back), and Corinne Dunnington (100 back).

State qualifying times were achieved by Owen Van Houten (200 IM, 500 free), Iris Ochoa (200 IM, 100 free), Leah McCarthy (diving), Weston Skidmore (100 fly, 100 breast), Grace Smith (100 fly), Ryan Ross (100 back), and Corinne Dunnington (100 back).  There were other swimmers extremely close to qualifying for state and many County qualifying times.

Congratulation to both teams for the outstanding spirit and sportsmanship!

The next meets will be versus North Gwinnett on Saturday evening, 6 Jan 2024, at the West Gwinnett Aquatic Center.

Thanks to all the parents that assisted with the meet! Home team responsibilities are much greater than the visiting team. Thanks to the parents that did an outstanding job with the setup, computer table, and take down. The meet ran extremely well due to their hard work! We will be the visiting team for our last two dual meets on Jan. 6th and Jan. 13th.  

We will be running practice at our normal time Dec. 18-22, Dec. 27-29, and Jan. 2-3.
