Congratulations to the Mill Creek swimmers for their outstanding performance yesterday in the County Meet prelims.  Both the boys and girls swam extremely well!

State qualifying times were achieved by Iris Ochoa (50 free, 100 free), Grace Smith (50 free. 100 fly), Marlee Carmichael (50 free, 100 free), Adelaine Dunnington (50 free), Emily Johnson (50 free), Lilly Murphy (100 back), Allison Shin (100 back), Kennedy Martin (100 back), Keegan Privett (200 free, 100 back, 50 free, 100 free), Jackson Fleming (200 free), Weston Skidmore (200 IM, 100 back), Owen Van Houten (200 IM, 500 free), Morris Peele (50 free, 100 fly), Caleb Jolly (50 free, 100 breast), and Ryan Ross (100 fly, 100 back, 100 free). There were other swimmers extremely close to qualifying for state.

The following swimmers will be competing tomorrow:

Girls:  Phoebe Basic, Marlee, Carmichael, Berkley Colavito, Adelaine and Corinne Dunnington, Caroline Hurd, Cara Ji, Emily Johnson, Samantha Jones, Ileana Lopez Barnes, Kennedy Martin, Lilly Murphy, Iris Ochoa, Allison Shin, Grace Smith, Ava Syed, Rory Terry, Kate Thigpen, and Mariela Toro.

Boys:  Adam Conner, Jackson Fleming, Morgan Iverson, Caleb Jolly, Nick Newton, Morris Peele, Keegan Privett, Ryan Ross, Weston Skidmore, Evan Smola, Owen Van Houten, and Jack Wallace.

Congratulations to all of the participants in the prelims yesterday!  The team displayed tremendous spirit and sportsmanship!

The finals will be Saturday, Jan. 20, at 1:00 PM at the West Gwinnett Aquatic Center.  The bus will leave Mill Creek at 10:00 AM.

The divers will be competing today at West Gwinnett Aquatic Center starting at 1:00 PM.
