Thanks to board for putting on an outstanding banquet.  It was a special night for all of the swimmers and divers.  It is always gratifying to celebrate their accomplishments both in the pool and the classroom.  Hopefully everyone had a positive experience.  I hope also that everyone realized that swimming fast and diving well are wonderful accomplishments, but so are the relationships athletes develop being part of a team.  We try to celebrate effort, commitment, spirit, and sportsmanship foremost.

I would like to apologize to Samantha Jones and Kennedy Martin.  Both of these outstanding swimmers should have received the Bronze Hawk Award.  Their plaques have been ordered and given to the athletes once they are received.

If you missed the banquet, please drop by Coach Creed's classroom, C213, before the end of 4A to pick up your banquet items.
