Congratulations to the Mill Creek swim team for their outstanding meet this weekend versus Parkview. Both the boys and girls swam and dove extremely well against one of the top teams in the state!

First place finishes were achieved by Austin Klemmer (200 free, 100 fly), Caleb Jolly (50 free), Marlee Carmichael (500 free), and Owen Van Houten (100 breast). 

State qualifying times were achieved by Austin Klemmer (200 free, 100 fly, 50 free), Justin Kurgan (100 free), and Owen Van Houten (100 breast).  There were other swimmers extremely close to qualifying for state and many County qualifying times.

Congratulation to both teams for the outstanding spirit and sportsmanship!

The next meet will be Saturday, Nov. 9 versus Brookwood and Jefferson at the West Gwinnett Aquatic Center. The bus will leave Mill Creek at 5:30 PM. The divers will compete in this meet.
