Congratulations to the Mill Creek swim team for their outstanding meet this weekend versus Brookwood and Jefferson. Both the boys and girls swam and dove extremely well against probably the top team in the state!

A first place finish was achieved by Leah McCarthy (diving).

State qualifying times were achieved by Justin Kurgan (200 free, 100 back), Leah McCarthy (diving), and Austin Klemmer (100 free, 100 back). There were other swimmers extremely close to qualifying for state and many County qualifying times.

Congratulation to all three teams for the outstanding spirit and sportsmanship!

One Wednesday, Nov. 13, we will be hosting a college signing ceremony immediately afterschool in the Mill Creek Media Center for Leah McCarthy.  She will be signing with UGA.  Congratulations to Leah!  Her hard work and dedication has paid off!!!!

The next meet will be Friday, Nov. 15 versus Mountain View and Dacula at the Collins Hill Aquatic Center.  The pool is a 10 lane pool. There are bleachers for spectators but no mezzanine seating. The pool tends to be warm inside so you may want to dress accordingly. There will not be a bus for this meet. We ask all swimmers and divers to arrive at the Collins Hill Aquatic Center no later than 6:15 PM. The address is 2200 Collins Hill Road, Lawrenceville, Georgia.
