USA swimmers wanting their County Meet times to be sent to USA swimming

Attention Club Swimmers:

We are only two weeks away from the County Championship Meet! As this is a USA Swimming observed meet, if your swimmer is a member of a USA Swim Club (such as Swim Atlanta, Spartans, Dynamo, Gwinnett Aquatics, etc.), and they wish to have their times recognized by USA Swimming (for awards or qualification for future club meets), please ensure the following three steps are completed.

However, if your team does not have any USA swimmers, kindly reply to this email so I can confirm. I need a response from all 20 teams.

Required Steps for USA Swimming Recognition:

  1. Provide USA Swimming Member ID:
Please provide the USA Swimming Member ID for each athlete in the attached spreadsheet. This ID can be found by logging into USA Swimming and checking the athlete's membership information.

This is the link - https://forms.gle/7fwBLTiyFAymSDwp8 - Below are the directions for the form.
  2. Register with USA Swimming:
Each athlete must be individually registered with USA Swimming (this must be done by the athlete directly, not the club). If the athlete hasn’t yet registered or renewed their membership, please visit the USA Swimming website for more details, or contact your swimmer’s club.
  3. Athlete Protection Training (APT):
Any swimmer 18 years and older who wishes to have their times observed at the County Meet must complete the Athlete Protection Training (APT) Course online.
Click here for the APT course. The Head Official will verify completion before the meet. If you have requested to be observed and have not completed the course your athlete will not allowed to participate. Make sure if they are 18 or older they have completed the course before submitting their number.

Failure to complete the above requirements will result in the athlete’s county and state times not uploading to the USA Swimming database, meaning those times won’t be observed.

Please note:
When times are uploaded, the swimmer will appear as Unattached in the Team field on Deck Pass or the USA Swimming site (instead of the high school team abbreviation).
