Congratulations to the Mill Creek swimming and diving team for their outstanding meet this weekend versus Brookwood, Parkview, and North Gwinnett in the Meet of Champions quad meet. Both the boys and girls swam and dove extremely well against 3 of the top teams in the state! 

First place finishes were achieved by Justin Kurgen (100 fly).

State qualifying times were achieved by Owen Van Houten (200 free, 100 back, 100 free), Marlee Carmichael (200 free), Justin Kurgen (50 free, 100 fly), Joy Orgbon (diving), and Melanie Jones (100 back). There were other swimmers extremely close to qualifying for state and many County qualifying times.

Congratulation to all of the teams for the outstanding spirit and sportsmanship!

The next meet will be Saturday, Nov. 1 versus Parkview at the Mountain Park Aquatic Center. The bus will leave Mill Creek at 5:15 PM. The divers will compete in this meet.

Thanks to all the parents that assisted with the meet! We will be the visiting team for our next meet and will need several volunteers.
