Congratulations to the Mill Creek swim team for their outstanding meet this weekend versus Mountain View and Discovery. Both the boys and girls swam and dove extremely well!

First place finishes were achieved by Justin Kurgan (200 free, 100 fly), Melanie Jones (200 free, 500 free), Luke Galloway (200 IM, 100 breast), Marlee Carmichael (200 IM, 100 back), Austin Klemmer (50 free, 100 free), Berkley Colavito (50 free, 100 breast), Joy Orgbon (diving), Corinne Dunnington (100 fly), and Kayla Crane (100 free).

State qualifying times were achieved by Justin Kurgan (200 free, 100 fly), Melanie Jones (500 free), Marlee Carmichael (100 back), Austin Klemmer (50 free, 100 free), Joy Orgbon (diving), and Kayla Crane (100 free).There were other swimmers extremely close to qualifying for state and many County qualifying times.

Congratulation to both teams for the outstanding spirit and sportsmanship!

The next meets will be Clody Invitational at the West Gwinnett Aquatic Center.  Swimmers and divers should go onto SwimTopia to declare their intentions and pick their events for the Clody Meet.
