Congratulations to the Mill Creek swim team for their outstanding meet this weekend versus Duluth and Berkmar. Both the boys and girls swam and dove extremely well!

First place finishes were achieved by Kayla Crane (200 free, 500 free), Sora Mizuno (200 IM), Melanie Jones (200 IM, 100 free), Owen Van Houten (100 fly, 100 back), Caroline Hurd (100 fly), Wade Barron (500 free), and Caleb Jolly (100 breast). 

State qualifying times were achieved by Melanie Jones (200 IM, 100 free), Camille Roberts (100 free), and Owen Van Houten (100 back). There were other swimmers extremely close to qualifying for state and many County qualifying times.

Congratulation to all three teams for the outstanding spirit and sportsmanship!

A special thanks to all of the families that contributed to Duluth's fundraiser!  The team was able to raise $1305 for a very worthy cause!!!  Thanks for your generosity!

The next meets will be versus North Gwinnett on Friday evening, 9 Jan 2026, at the West Gwinnett Aquatic Center.

We will run practice during our normal times next week.  We will also run practice Dec. 22-23, Dec. 29-30, and Jan. 2 over the holidays from 3-4:30 in the water (no dryland).

The meet results are attached and also posted on our team website and on SwimTopia.

Thanks to all the parents that assisted with the meet! Home team responsibilities are much greater than the visiting team. Thanks to the parents that did an outstanding job with the setup, computer table, and take down. The meet ran extremely well due to their hard work!
