Congratulations to the Mill Creek swim team for their outstanding meet this weekend versus Norcross. Both the boys and girls swam and dove extremely well!

First place finishes were achieved by Emma Pauli (200 free, 500 free), Owen Van Houten (200 IM), Kennedy Martin (200 IM, 100 back), Marlee Carmichael (50 free), Joy Orgbon (diving), Justin Kurgan (100 fly, 100 breast), Caleb Jolly (100 free), Camille Roberts (100 free), and Austin Klemmer (500 free, 100 back).

State qualifying times were achieved by Owen Van Houten (200 IM), Marlee Carmichael (50 free), Joy Orgbon (diving), Justin Kurgan (100 fly, 100 breast), Corinne Dunnington (100 fly), Caleb Jolly (100 free, 100 breast), Camille Roberts (100 free), and Austin Klemmer (500 free, 100 back, 100 free). There were other swimmers extremely close to qualifying for state and many new County qualifying times.

Congratulation to both teams for their outstanding spirit and sportsmanship!

A special congratulations to our outstanding seniors Marlee Carmichael, Corinne Dunnington, Madison Eck, Jackson Fleming, Clara Ji, Caleb Jolly, Samantha Jones, Catherine Krueger, Justin Kurgan, Emma Pauli, Allison Shin, Ava Syed, and Owen Van Houten for their commitment and dedication to their academics, swimming, and to the team.

The next meet will be the Gwinnett County Championship Meet, Jan. 21-24.
